This study presents a comprehensive and critical review and analysis of the recent studies on involvement in the context of fashion clothing to indicate the current state and identify possible gaps. A content analysis of the current peer-reviewed journal articles published on this research topic reveals a paucity of research on a number of antecedents and consequences of involvement. The literature review examines various papers, scholarly or not that I intend on linking to my fast fashion analysis. The scholarly review includes for the most part an in-depth analysis of the industry, its components, its success, and its ethics. This entails a snapshot of the current situation, the key elements in the success of fast fashion, and the distinction between two types of creativity and creations. It also includes a research on the importance of appearances in Lebanon, a concept I want to link to the bulimic consumption of fast fashion in Lebanon. I believe that this 21st century pathology plays an essential role in the consumption of fast fashion and want to explore this matter further in my project.
